Catherine Zambri:
Catherine cast and stars in the film "212" [Official Selection 2005 Sundance Film Festival]. She can be seen in the upcoming film, "The Marconi Bros.". For TV, she has appeared in Law and Order and Law and
Order: Criminal Intent; Third Watch; As the World Turns. On stage, she has appeared in numerous plays in NYC including: Bash, Three Sisters, and the workshop of Tulsa Lovechild directed by Mercedes Ruehl. Regionally, she's worked at Syracuse and Virginia Stage. Directing
credits include: Lincoln Center Director Lab 2002, Cherry
Lane-AlterNation Fest. Somebody's Sons; Baby Dance; and The Glass Menagerie among others. Her plays Exercise, Brown-Paper-Bag-Picnic-Gunch, and How to Bend the Parameters of a Syncopated Clock have been published by PlaySource Publishing NYC. Other plays include Three, You Can Lead a Cow to Water but you Cannot Make her Milk, Loose Girls and Screwdrivers, and Kilts on Five. She is founding co-Artistic Director of Camilla's Theatre and CamillaFilms and a founding member of Manhattan Theatre Source. As a filmmaker, she has produced two feature films,Red Dog. Scooter. Applesauce. and Firefly and numerous shorts. She is currently working on her latest feature, Oliver Creation, which she co-wrote with her husband, Mitchell Riggs. She is a graduate of the drama department at Syracuse
University and has studied with the Moscow Art Theatre.
Mitchell is an Independent Spirit Award nominee for his work in Kaaterskill Falls in the "Best Debut Performance" category. The film was also nominated for the John Cassavettes Award. Kaaterskill Falls, which he co-wrote, was the winner of the Critics Choice Award from the
Los Angeles Film Festival in 2002 and winner of Best Film from the Empire State Film Festival. Other lead film roles include: Spin The Bottle; Stealing Martin Lane with Dylan Baker; and Ashpet: An American Cinderella. He has performed regionally at The Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Phoenix Theatre Company (The Glass Menagerie with Carrie Nye, directed by Ellis Rabb),The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Syracuse Stage (The Sum Of Us), GeVa, Capitol Rep., The Downstairs Cabaret Theatre of Rochester, and the North Carolina and Illinois Shakespeare festivals. In NY: Signature Theatre Company (founding associate), Synchronicity Space, The Director's Co.(Avow by Bill C. Davis), The Workhouse Theatre (Spyz by Keith Reddin), The Ohio Theatre, Trilogy Theatre, Camilla's Theatre Gallery and Manhattan Theattre Source. He is a founding member of three theatres in Manhattan: The Signature Theatre Company, Manhattan Theatre Source, and Camilla's Theatre Gallery. He is a board member of The Lady Cavaliers. He has produced over 50 original theatrical events and nine full-length Plays, four of which have moved to larger commercial venues. As a filmmaker, he has produced two feature films, Red Dog. Scooter. Applesauce. and Firefly and numerous shorts. He is currently working on his latest feature, Oliver Creation, which he co-wrote with his wife, Catherine Zambri. Mitchell is also a freelance editor and teacher in NYC.
